News Welcome to the 10th Llandeilo Fawr Festival of Music and Flowers (10th -18th July 2010)Founded in 2001 by its current Artistic Director Julia Jones, the Llandeilo Fawr Music and Flower Festival has, since its very inception, sought to bring artists of truly international stature to this lovely corner of Wales. In the process, it has succeeded in turning this small town, for one week each year, into a venue which ranks with the musical capitals of the world in terms of both the quality and sheer excellence of its programming. In that week anyone crossing the town’s famous bridge would hardly suspect what riches lay in store for them. Sir Willard White, Sir Thomas Allen, The King’s Singers, Nikolai Demidenko, Tasmin Little, Jamie Cullum : the list is endless, and this is indeed a Festival which, year by year, sets its sights ever higher.
